It was on that historic day in 1964 that Jamie witnessed the British Invasion at the Ed Sullivan Theater. It might have been her most significant 15 mins of (or next to) fame, because it was then that she realized the power of amazing talent.
Fast forward to 1989—Jamie opened the doors to her own staffing company, Team Concepts Personnel, with her experienced partner who has since retired. A quarter of a century later, she continues to provide clients with superior staffing expertise using her own rigorous screening techniques.
Although Jamie has seen a lot of changes in the industry, she maintains that matching a quality candidate with the right position is about human connections. One-on-one relationships are at the core of how she conducts her business. Jamie prides herself on giving personalized consultations to each and every employer/candidate. In fact, every time the phone rings at Team Concepts, she will be the one picking up. Being accessible to everyone is extremely important to her.
Jamie draws on her rich experience to seek out new opportunities. Serving a wide range of industries—with a specialty in the pharmaceutical sector—Jamie strives to save clients time and money while helping to meet their staffing needs. She has seen first hand how one quality employee can elevate an entire team, and that’s what she strives to achieve for every placement.
While Jamie never again had a brush with The Beatles, she feels fortunate to do what she loves; so much so that she has made giving back another core ingredient to her business model. She is currently in the process of donating to local and national foundations each quarter. If you are a client with a cause that is near and dear to your heart, Jamie would love to discuss contributing on your behalf.
Jamie was recently profiled by MoSa’sMarketing Consultants in their series titled “Untold Stories of Small Business Owners.” The first video of the project, the creators hope that viewers will be inspired by what people in their community, like Jamie, are accomplishing everyday.
